The Baldwin Fund withdraws from The New York State Fair after 33 Years

WHY YOU WON’T SEE THE BALDWIN FUND AT THE NYS FAIR THIS YEAR
For the past 33 years the Baldwin Fund has been proud to be a part of the great New York State Fair. Thousands of volunteers have partnered with us, the community has come to learn about our mission, celebrate survivors and honor the warriors who have and will battle breast cancer.
Our mission is always to serve our community and that will not change.
Changes happen, and I have remained committed but I can no longer participate and feel it is time to take a stand for what is right for the organization and the people who work so hard to help us. After a meeting this past week I can no longer stand for the changes being made by the leaders at the State Fair. We the vendors and organizations are the heart of the NYS Fair and our voices are not being heard. When you can no longer feel good about the task at hand and it becomes a distraction to serving our community it becomes time to make a change. This year you will not see the Baldwin Fund at the great NYS Fair. This decision was not made lightly.
Again I want to give my very sincerest thank you to all who have given of their time and talents, all who have stopped and shared your stories and your loved ones stories with us over the years. We are still here, we will continue to focus on the mission of raising critical funding for treatment and a cure for breast cancer. #TogetherWeWillFindACure
