What is Pickleball?

Pickleball, a sport that blends the best elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis, has rapidly gained popularity in recent years. It was invented in 1965 on Bainbridge Island, Washington, by three dads looking to create a fun activity for their families. The sport is played on a rectangular court, usually divided into halves by a low net. Pickleball is well-loved for its accessibility, making it enjoyable for people of all ages and skill levels. Players use a solid paddle and a perforated plastic ball, similar to a wiffle ball, to engage in fast-paced rallies, all while aiming to outmaneuver their opponents and score points.
